Rejuran Healer Singapore —
Repair, Not Volume

Rejuran Healer is the standard whole-face preparation in the Rejuran range: salmon-derived polynucleotides injected into the dermis to support repair, texture and elasticity. It adds no volume and lifts nothing. This page covers who it suits, how the appointment runs, and what to expect afterwards.

The Mechanism

A Signal For Repair

Book a Consultation

Healer contains purified polynucleotide fragments from salmon DNA, at about 20 mg per millilitre: a clear gel, thicker than a hyaluronic acid booster and thinner than a filler. In the dermis it supports fibroblast activity and the turnover of the skin's matrix, and it damps inflammation, an effect linked to adenosine receptor signalling.

It changes no measurement of the face. Your own skin does the rebuilding, so the change is gradual. The wider family is on Rejuran at Atelier, and polynucleotide types on polynucleotide skin boosters.

Who It Suits

What Rejuran Treatment Can Change

Healer suits skin that repairs poorly: uneven texture, fine lines, slackened elasticity, a dull or crepey surface, and skin quality after acne. Pores can look less obvious as texture improves, though their size does not change. It is not for hollows, lifting, tethered scars, or melasma and other pigment (pigmentation removal).

Its relatives. Rejuran S, a denser preparation placed into scars, is offered as Rejuran S for scars. The under-eye and hyaluronic acid versions are not described as offered at Atelier; crepe beneath the eyes is assessed on its own (under-eye lines). The "Rejuran facial" in weekly maintenance is topical, not Healer injections.

The Decision

Healer, Another Booster, Or Neither

Healer is chosen when the skin needs repair and calming; where firmness and hydration matter more, a hyaluronic acid bioremodeller is weighed (Profhilo vs Rejuran, skin booster suitability). Rough texture often does better with resurfacing or RF microneedling in the same plan.

When to wait. Pregnancy and breastfeeding; infection, inflamed skin or active acne at the sites (acne treatment comes first). A fish allergy is asked about directly, a keloid tendency is weighed near scars, and darker skin is planned with bruising and post-inflammatory darkening in mind.

Rejuran at Atelier

On The Day

What Happens At The Appointment

  1. Dr Sin Yong examines the skin and confirms allergies, pregnancy and keloid history.
  2. Photographs are taken for your medical record only.
  3. The skin is cleansed and topical anaesthetic is left to work.
  4. Healer is placed as many small deposits across the planned areas.
  5. A small raised papule forms at each point; this is expected.
  6. You leave with written aftercare and your next date.

Most people feel pinpricks and a mild sting.

Recovery

Recovery And Aftercare

The papules settle as the gel is absorbed; a pinpoint bruise may last a few days longer. Skip make-up, heat, alcohol and hard exercise that first evening. The routine is on Rejuran aftercare, and the day-by-day picture on Rejuran downtime.

Change builds across the course and is judged at follow-up.

Safety

Risks And Side Effects

Common: papules, redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising, which settle on their own. Uncommon: nodules where product sits unevenly or too superficially, and infection. Rare: allergic reaction.

Contact the clinic if pain increases instead of easing, redness spreads with warmth, swelling does not go down, or a lump remains after the papules have gone. Swelling of the lips, tongue or throat with difficulty breathing is an emergency: go to the nearest hospital emergency department. More is on complication care.

FAQ

Rejuran Healer — Common Questions

Ask a Question
Rejuran is the brand; Healer is its standard preparation for the whole face, and the one most people mean by Rejuran injections. Rejuran S is a denser version for placing into scars, offered at Atelier as part of scar treatment. Other members of the range exist but are not described as offered at Atelier. Dr SY names the preparation in your written plan.
It can suit acne-prone and reactive skin once breakouts are under control, because polynucleotides help calm inflammation and support repair. Active acne in the treatment area is settled first, so the injections do not go into inflamed skin. Healer does not release tethered scars or fill pitted ones; those need subcision, resurfacing or TCA CROSS, with Rejuran S sometimes used alongside.
Yes, and it often is when rough texture or early scarring is part of the picture. Laser or RF microneedling works on the skin's structure, while Healer supports the quality of the repair. The two are not given over the same area back to back: Dr SY sets the order and spacing in your plan after assessing your skin and how it heals.
No fixed duration is promised. The change builds gradually across the course, usually three to four sessions two to four weeks apart at Atelier, and is judged at follow-up. How well it holds depends on your skin, sun exposure, acne activity and other treatment in the plan. Whether and when a further session helps is decided at that visit rather than booked in advance.
There is no single figure, because the plan sets the fee. The area treated, how much product it needs, the number of sessions, and whether Healer sits alongside laser, RF microneedling or scar treatment all change it. A fish or seafood allergy is discussed before any plan. Dr SY assesses your skin first, and a written quote follows the consultation; see how we quote.
