Facelift & Lifting
Dr. Sin Yong's proprietary thread lift technique — minimally invasive facial lifting with a comfort profile and longevity that distinguishes it from standard PDO threadlifts. Atelier Aesthetics, Singapore.
What is it?
The Bliss Lift is Dr. Sin Yong's proprietary thread lifting technique — a minimally invasive facelift that uses absorbable PDO (polydioxanone) or PLLA threads carefully placed beneath the skin to mechanically lift sagging tissue and stimulate collagen production.
What differentiates the Bliss Lift from standard thread lift procedures is Dr. Sin Yong's placement technique and thread selection — refined through extensive experience to minimise discomfort during insertion, reduce the risk of visibility or migration, and maximise the lifting vector and longevity of results. The name reflects the patient experience: a procedure that is significantly more comfortable than patients typically expect, with a natural-looking lift that holds well.
For patients who prefer a more immediate mechanical lift — or who are not candidates for laser-based lifting — the Bliss Lift provides a powerful alternative with same-day visible results.
The lift is mechanical and the duration is finite. When the polymer resorbs, the mechanical component goes with it.
Local anaesthetic is applied prior to thread insertion, making the procedure well tolerated. Dr. Sin Yong's technique is refined specifically to minimise discomfort — 'bliss' is not just a name. Most patients rate discomfort as mild.
Results from the Bliss Lift typically last 12–24 months depending on thread type, placement and individual collagen response. Dr. Sin Yong will advise on the most appropriate thread selection and maintenance schedule for your anatomy.
The RVR ProLift achieves facial lifting without any threads — no sutures are inserted. The Bliss Lift uses absorbable threads for a more immediate mechanical lift. Both achieve vertical restoration; Dr. Sin Yong will recommend the most appropriate approach based on your anatomy and preferences at consultation.
Most patients experience mild swelling and occasional minor bruising for 1–3 days. Strenuous activity and facial massage should be avoided for 1–2 weeks. Most patients return to normal social activities within a few days.
