Who This Protocol Is For

4D Scar Reconstruction is not the first treatment most patients need. It exists for presentations where standard resurfacing has already been attempted and underdelivered, and for scarring severe enough that a uniform protocol was never going to succeed.

That includes deep atrophic acne fields, surgical and traumatic scars, hypertrophic scarring, and mixed-morphology cases where ice-pick, boxcar and rolling scars coexist and interact with one another.

Dr. Sin Yong assesses whether a patient is better served by the standard protocol before recommending this one. Being told you do not need the flagship treatment is a legitimate outcome of a consultation.
