SmartXide Tetra Pro, a fractional CO2 laser at 10,600 nm: the Tetra Pro S³ acne scar treatment, and part of 4D Scar Reconstruction.
TORO, which pairs a 785 nm picosecond wavelength with nanosecond Q-switched Nd:YAG (1064 and 532 nm) and a long-pulsed 1064 nm mode: pico laser for pigment and tattoos, and T2 Frax Radiance.
RedTouch Pro, a fractional, non-ablative 675 nm laser: the Shaonu Guang laser for redness and pores.
Onda Pro, Coolwaves microwave energy at 2.45 GHz, absorbed preferentially by fat, and neither a laser nor radiofrequency: body contouring.

Does Dr SY train other doctors on DEKA lasers?

Yes. Sharing clinical experience with other physicians is part of the appointment, and it usually happens beside the treatment chair. In October 2025 he presented his S3 resurfacing protocol at a hands-on Tetra Pro session for physicians in Singapore. At the DEKA Academy in Florence in October 2026 his role was different: he attended as a participant, and as a Key Opinion Leader comparing notes on settings with DEKA's faculty.

Is a Key Opinion Leader appointment the same as a training certificate?

No. The appointment is an ongoing working role: DEKA's teams consult Dr SY on how their platforms perform in clinic and invite him to share his experience with other physicians. A certificate of attendance, such as the one from the DEKA Academy in Florence, records that a doctor completed a particular programme, and every participant receives one. Neither tells you how your own skin will respond.

Will the appointment affect which treatment I am offered?

The appointment does not decide your plan. Treatment follows the diagnosis, not the brand of device in the room, and response varies from person to person; sometimes the right advice is no treatment at all.
