CLASSYS Key Opinion Leader —
Working With the Maker of Volnewmer

A Key Opinion Leader appointment is a working arrangement. The manufacturer's clinical team invites a physician to share protocols and clinical experience; in return the physician hears early about protocol updates and can put questions directly to the engineers.

For Dr SY, the CLASSYS role has meant speaking at CLASSYS meetings and sharing his own protocols with the company's clinical teams. In September 2026, CLASSYS invited him to the CLASSYS Academy in São Paulo, hosted by its Brazilian partner MedSystems. Day one covered Volnewmer, from tissue planes and tip choice to a live demonstration and supervised hands-on practice, with his VF Lift protocol. Day two covered Secret Duo, which combines RF microneedling and a 1540 nm non-ablative fractional laser on one platform.

The appointment is not a promise of any result, and never a reason to pick a device ahead of a diagnosis.

Volnewmer, a volumetric monopolar radiofrequency platform, is the CLASSYS device behind the VF Lift at Atelier. It works at 6.78 MHz and delivers energy continuously at up to 115 W, through a water-cooled tip that cools the skin throughout.

The VF Lift – Vertical Facelift is Dr SY's own non-surgical lifting protocol on this platform, used for the jawline, lower face, midface, under the chin and the brow. It is one of the options for a sagging face, and the treatment page explains how a session is planned.
