PCL · Hands Off · Pacific Plaza
Ellansé is a polycaprolactone (PCL) collagen stimulator: its gel gives shape on the day, and its microspheres prompt your own collagen over months. It cannot be dissolved, so aftercare means leaving the area alone while it settles, and knowing which signs mean Dr Sin Yong should see you sooner.
Your written aftercare comes first. Product choice is on volume restoration and collagen biostimulators.
While It Settles
Swelling fades unevenly, so leave the shape alone and do not judge it yet. One rule covers this period: nothing that presses on, heats or vibrates the treated area.
Skin And Sun
Wash and apply products gently, without rubbing or pressing. Pause strong skincare actives as Dr SY advises, and restart once your skin feels ordinary again.
Use shade and a broad-spectrum sunscreen every day, all year, smoothed on lightly rather than worked in.
Everyday Life
Exercise and heat. Strenuous exercise, saunas, steam and alcohol wait 24–48 hours, as after other injectables at Atelier, and longer if the swelling has not yet started to settle.
Make-up. Once the entry points have closed, apply it gently, without pressing on the area.
Flights. Plan a short gap before flying; see Ellansé downtime.
Safety
Swelling, tenderness, small bruises, firmness that softens and some early unevenness are expected. These are not.
Go directly, not to the clinic first, and do not wait for a reply. If your vision is affected, do not drive yourself.
Call or WhatsApp +65 8023 7170 (Monday to Saturday, 11:00–20:00) with a photo, and do not massage a lump. Discoloured skin or worsening pain needs same-day assessment: out of hours, or if the clinic does not answer at once, go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
